✨ A beautiful Grade II listed building in the heart of Hertford town centre was in much need of some TLC. With its striking cast-iron windows, original hoist arm, and what we believe to be the original (or very close to) front door — not to mention the charming plat band running across the façade — this property holds so much character and history.
We were delighted to carefully restore and refresh these features, breathing new life into a truly stunning building while honouring its heritage. A real pleasure to be part of bringing such an iconic piece of Hertford’s history back to life!

A huge amount of preparation went into this restoration before completing it with a beautiful, high-gloss finish. We even took the original brass details home for a thorough clean and polish before carefully refitting them — the finishing touch that really brought this historic entrance back to life.
